Lindy Garneau ::

Living into Transformation

To kickstart the new year, I had the great pleasure and honour of attending one of Lindy Garneau's Visioning Workshops. Lindy is an outstanding facilitator. Her intuitive guidance and innate leadership skills create empowering and welcoming environments, where open dialogue is fostered. Her workshops are an opportunity to reflect on our passions while drawing awareness to the things we are grateful for.The workshop provided me an opportunity to rediscover my passions and deepest insights, in order to assemble a path I really want to be on.
An intricate balance of reflection and discussion, the workshop is a powerful and moving demonstration of transformative learning. Lindy's ability to help people reconnect and listen to their spirit should be championed. I would recommend this workshop to everyone and anyone. Throughout the workshop, Lindy manages to help her participants find their wings, and upon departure, she praises their flight.

Thank you so much for all your efforts in being a part of Frontier College in so many different ways. We have gained so much knowledge from your expertise! Thank you for taking the time to put together a presentation for our 14th Annual Literacy Conference. We were very excited to have you back as one of our speakers, we hope to see you again soon!

I want to thank you for your support and dedication to students… while on their learning journey. I hear good things from students… about your commitment to providing them with quality services and to keeping the legacy of caring alive. I very much appreciate the work you do. There needs to be more people like you who really care.

Going into Lindy's Transformative Learning workshop, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but my experience was far more rich and fulfilling than I ever could have predicted. Lindy guided us with her own honesty and experience, and structured her presentation in a way that allowed and encouraged us to participate actively. Reflecting on real, powerful questions we were able to be truly honest with ourselves, and share with each other in a very positive, supportive atmosphere. Lindy is a wonderful facilitator and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to attend her workshop, and I hope to again in the future.

As a student with a learning disability I struggled during my first two years at University. Fortunately, I met Lindy who through her coaching gave me the tools to finish my degree with honours. Lindy’s coaching approach is fun, creative and life changing!

 I am Anishinaabe - Kwe from Nipissing First Nation. I am currently entering my fourth year as an Indigenous Studies Major at Trent University. Lindy has been a great help to me throughout my years at Trent. In fact I would say that without Lindy’s coaching I would never have made it to fourth year. Lindy consistently encouraged me to keep going in my academic and personal life even when I felt like giving up. Lindy has helped give me the tools to excel at school and get on to the Dean’s List as well as make me the strong woman I am today. I am truly glad I met Lindy and had the opportunity to be coached by her.

If I had to describe my experience with Lindy in one word, the first thing that comes to mind is 'incredible'. She encourages her clients to understand that they have all the answers within them. Lindy nurtures that understanding and allows her clients to face that awareness. Lindy encouraged me to trust and believe in myself. She is truly an inspirational person. I am blessed to call her a friend and a spiritual mentor.
